This Is Your Season to Shift

Leslie Blue Dress 1

Are you in a season of “I Don’t Know What’s Going to Happen Next”? I’ve personally been there and done that.   If that’s the season you’re in right now, get ready to SHIFT into something GREAT. As you journey through this season, stay on TRACK and don’t fight the process. God’s aligning you with great PURPOSE; therefore, receive this SHIFT with gratefulness. The process may cause slight discomfort, embarrassment, or guilt- but it has a purpose for the next chapter in your life. Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) says, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”  I can confirm that if you stay focus, stay on course, and listen to God’s voice…you’ll SHIFT into greatness.

Jeremiah 29

God knows the plans that He has for your life. He’s confident in you succeeding, but are you confident in yourself? God’s plan for your life is to prosper you not to bring you harm. When I read Jeremiah 29:11 excitement swells within me because I know that it’s not God’s will for us to wonder aimlessly without purpose. I believe God has purposefully mapped out the direction for your life, but it’s up to you to seek His presence and gain clarity as to what that purpose is in this season.

I’ve always been a little rebel at heart that danced to my own beat. In all honesty, dancing to my own beat landed me in dark places in my life like teen motherhood at age sixteen and married to the wrong person, which caused so much public humiliation. In both instances, I wanted to “ACT” swiftly and not “LISTEN” respectfully to the word “NO” from God. In hindsight, I understand that what I truly wanted was love and attention…but I gained it negatively from the wrong people through instant gratification. Because I failed to seek God’s approval for certain wants in myself, I suffered immensely with public SHAME, financial ruin and starting over constantly. These two examples are negative shifts in my life. As a Transformation Discovery Coach™, you want to avoid negative shifts if at all possible. That’s why it’s important that you learn from past mistakes as you prepare to transition into your next chapter.

As you prepare to SHIFT, it’s vital that you:
1. Pray often.
2. Stay on course.
3. Focus daily.
4. Meditate on God’s word.
5. Change your diet by eating healthy.
6. Read daily for knowledge.
7. Stay calm.
8. Seek God’s approval.
9. Manage your stress level.
10. Get financially healthy.

Each tip can help you transition smoothly into your next chapter. The more you implement and practice good habits, the better you’ll feel as God transition you into your next season. I’m believing God for change and turn around in your life. Therefore, start preparing now for your season of change. Don’t wait until God changes your zip code, job, finances, etc., to address certain habits…start now.
Good Shifts Are Happening Now,

Stay Calm

Be Still

God’s word in Matthew 11:28-30 declares, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”(NIV) Wow! Living in a season of frustration is strong enough to break a camel’s back.  But as you whether the storm, do not allow the spirit of frustration to steal your love, peace, happiness or joy. It’s not God’s plan for you to feel an overwhelming sense of frustration daily.  Believe it or not, God doesn’t want your heart to be troubled. Instead, He wants you to smile and live happily without the burden of frustration.

God’s plan for your life is to live life and live it more abundantly. Abundant living is peaceful living. It’s living without constant distractions. Think about it; peace should provide a comfort level that surpasses all understanding. When you establish total peace, your entire life transforms.

That’s why the devil understands that frustrating you distracts you from God’s purposeful design for your life. When the enemy bombards you with frustration; you fail to live at your fullest potential. You become short-tempered, spiteful or neglectful. That’s the plan of the enemy. He wants to distract your attention from living life at its highest peek.

Let’s dig deeper! Happiness doesn’t merely exist when you’re frustrated nor does peace permeate the atmosphere. Learn to create peace. It may sound difficult at first “creating peace”, but it’s worth the try. When you embody peace, you create an atmosphere that’s inviting to you and everyone align to you. By creating this soothing comfort zone, you begin to shut out life’s negativity.

When creating a ‘frustration-free zone’, infuse the powerful practice of gratitude. By tapping into your happy place and practicing gratitude, you learn to defuse those negative energies that attempt to consume and capsize your day. Believe me, when you’re happy, everyone around you gleans from that happiness.

In an effort to rid frustration, plan to set aside time in the mornings to meditate and give thanks. You can do this by creating a ‘frustration-free zone’ in your home. Establish a playlist of calming music, affirmations, prayers, etc. Light soft, white candles. Purchase comfy, large, colorful pillows. Sit on them in a comfortable position. Breathe deeply. Close your eyes, as you inhale and exhale. Visualize positive imagines that make you smile. Create a positive energy around you. Connect with yourself on a spiritual level and give thanks.

Trust me.  You have what it takes to live life and live it more abundantly.  But in order to live life peacefully, you must learn to believe that you deserve peace everyday unapologetically.   This is your season to take back your life and walk in your authentic self.

Stay Calm not Frustrated,

Your Transformation Starts Now-Visualize It

Be Who God

Your transformation starts right now with the renewing of your mind.  Yes.  Transformation takes time, but change can happen.   Roman 12:2 (KJV) says, “And be conformed to this word: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”  Starting today, you can live the best you. Grow from your hurt, pain, or shameful past.  Stand tall. Tell yourself that you’re beautiful.  Walk with confidence.  Breathe.

Step #1: Be honest with yourself.  You only have one life.  Today you will live.  You will not shrink behind the shadows of a beautiful friend, loquacious partner, tedious job, rambunctious child(ren) or social media.  Instead, you will work on being honest with yourself.   Ask yourself, “What do I seek to change?”  Visualize your plan.  Determine “why” this change is significant. Understand how the strategy “visualization” can help speed up your transformation process.

Step #2: Visualize your change.  Your change starts the moment you create a mental picture in your mind.  Visualization can help you gain control of your life.  Daily, you must work on visualizing your success, happiness, or peace.  Take control of your life. Transform your mind…starting now.  If you want transformation to happen in your life, visualize it “DAILY”.

Step #3: Visualize, activate, and transform your thoughts.  Locate and create a peaceful environment.  Play music that’s calming if it will help you relax.  Light candles.  Close your eyes.  Breathe slowly.  Meditate.  Clear your mind.  Think about what you want to transform.  If you are seeking a new job, visualize that job.  Create positive thoughts centered around securing this new position.  See your new desk.   Imagine your new office.  Visualize your title.  Take ownership of your success.  Expect an excellent salary.  Consider your positive influence on others.  Can’t you see your success?!

You are changing for the better.  Don’t compromise.  Everything you’ve been through has prepared you for this moment. You are stronger than ever.  You have the tenacity to live the best you!   Take time, listen to my audio download titled: Fire Equals Transformation.  Remember, the moment you decide to transform your mind– that is the moment you will change your condition.

Your transformation starts now,

Your Miracle Is Right Around the Corner

Around the corner

When I woke up this morning, I started to meditate.  I heard the small voice of God speaking. It’s amazing how God’s presence can change our perspective and change our entire day.  Not to get too personal, but as I was preparing breakfast this morning, I felt the visitation of God.  It was very strong.

First, God wants us to “COMMAND” our mornings. Take time to pray, meditate, exercise, journal, or self-reflect.  These strategies can help “set” the temperament for our entire day.  Daily, it’s imperative that we honor God by carving out time to converse with Him. When we fail to command our mornings by honoring God, distractions from the enemy can seep into our spirit causing physical and spiritual disruptions.  When we pray, we’re equipping ourselves to withstand the blows of the enemy.  Get rooted in the word when driving to work, while drinking coffee, or while sitting in bed aimlessly.  Every moment that we invite God in, we willfully build a spiritual bridge that allows us to tap into God’s purpose for our lives.  His word daily is food to our souls and nourishment for our bodies.

Next, God doesn’t want us to compromise.  We must stand strong, and we cannot compromise our well-being in this season.  Stay focus; stay mentally healthy; stress-free, and guilt-free. I must be honest; I use to compromise myself for the sake of fitting in with others.  But as I continually grow in Christ, God reminds me to stand on His word as a guide for my life as noted in Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) where it is written that God has a plan for our lives.  It’s not to harm us, but these plans are to prosper us so that we’ll have hope as He guides and directs us into our future.  Therefore, we must stop compromising our peace.  Remember, God doesn’t function in dysfunction.  He’s a man of order. That’s why it’s important that we build a relationship with God and that we converse with Him daily as we “Command Our Mornings.”

Then, God wants us to trust HIM!!!  I believe that God’s building our FAITH in this season.  He’s building our faith with various test and trials.  Through these various test and trails, God is causing us to exercise our faith and depend totally on him.  For it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV), “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Finally, God’s working a miracle in our lives.  Let’s stay strong and not sway from God when situations start to look weary.  Remember, God is watching during the test; he’s just quiet as He conducts an evaluation of our hearts and reactions to see if we’re walking by “faith” or walking by “sight”.

Sincerely,

~ShameNoMore

A Shifting of Change: (S.H.A.M.E.)

Sister Healing Against Mental Emotions (S.H.A.M.E.)

Psalm 46: 10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

Hello Sisters Healing Against Mental Emotions(S.H.A.M.E.):

I know it’s been a while since anyone has last heard from me, but sometimes words take time to formulate when hearing from God.  Over the last several weeks, I have witness various sisters undergoing numerous changes in their lives be it positive or negative.  Change is defined by dictionary.com as (2012) “to transform or convert.”  As I continue to grow spiritually, I’ve come to understand that change is needed in an effort to shift gears when God is moving in one’s life.  Romans 12:2 states, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is —his good, pleasing and perfect will.” (NIV) Therefore, as I continue to journey while accepting change without choice or discourse, I believe in my heart that in order to embrace change fully, I must conform without reservations and allow God to use me as He sees fit.

First, I must conform to God’s plan wholeheartedly without backlash.  I must admit, it’s hard to conform to change when life feels like a twenty foot tsunami raging out of control.  What I’ve found is that I cannot limit God, cut a deal, or even rationalize as to why [this is happening or that is happening].  Nonetheless, it’s amazing how I always seem to come back to one analysis and that is He knows best in terms of my life.  Even when I do not understand why major shifts happen, why certain deviations take shape, or why sorrowful situations occur to good people…one thing is certain, He’s working it out behind closed doors. According to 1 John 5:4 “Every child of God can defeat the world, and our faith is what gives us this victory” (CEV).

Second, I’ve found that it’s inevitable to lose some people along the way when shifting to the next level.  I must admit that change hurts, but as a Sister Healing Against Mental Emotions™ (S.H.A.M.E.) daily, I’ve come to understand that some changes just don’t make sense to the carnal eye.  It’s difficult to conceptualize each purpose right away when God closes one door, reopens a past door, or opens a new door.  That’s happened a lot lately in this season and with each closing, reopening, or opening of a new door, I’ve come to understand that a spiritual shift is sure to happen every time.  But, I have learned that when God closes one door even if it hurts and I may not understand it at that time, He always heals the wound and opens another door.

Third, change hurts.  No one enjoys pain, but with growth comes growing pains.  Oftentimes in life, we’ve become complacent. Thus, complacency breeds stagnation.  As women of God, we cannot allow complacency to stop our growing pains in life.  I’ve come to know that in order to birth my vision, I must undergo the “Labor Pains” of life.  Those of us who have had the opportunity to bear children understand these pains quite well.  However, the end reward is sweet when the vision is birth into fruition.

Fourth, change is never consistent.  In life, I’ve come to expect the unexpected.  Therefore, when God is shifting me left, I turn left.  When I feel that he’s shifting me right, I turn right.  However, when I feel that I’m uncertain as to where he’s shifting me, that’s when I press my spiritual breaks, get quiet, adhere to the word, and wait on him. But, during this cycle of postponement is when I become most antsy like a child wanting a piece of candy from the candy jar, but my father is saying, “No, not now!  Just wait a little while longer.”

Finally, life and death is in the power of the tongue.  If I will it, so will it be.  Therefore, speaking positivity is detrimental to living a fulfilling and powerful life. It states in Proverbs 18:21 “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” (NIV)  My unspoken words have just as much power as my spoken words.  Therefore, I think therefore I am.

In any case, as I continue my spiritual journey of reflection and connectivity with God, it’s imperative that I have balance and associate myself with likeminded people in this season.  While waiting patiently, I’ve come to realize that I need to consistently renew my spirit with the edification of His words, while he’s transforming me into a dynamic Sister Healing Against Mental Emotions™ (S.H.A.M.E.).

With sisterly love,

~Shamenomore
